The sun still shines here.

The central building with the golden eagle was the very place where the American declaration of independence was first read to the people. It's amazing to see an old historical site such as this in the midst of a big city that grew up around all it in the centuries that followed. I liked how you could get architecture from the 18th century, the early 20th (or late 19th?), and modern times, all in one shot.

And as you can see, despite being immensely overshadowed by its neighbours, the sun still reaches its walls.

I did some tweaking with the shadows and highlights in photoshop 6 to give the image more depth.
